Iriapú Rainforest – Puerto Iguazú
-Meet one of the Seven Wonders of the World-
The Iguazu River constitutes one of the largest waterfall systems in the world: 275 falls are perched above a rainforest, which is home to over 500 of animals and 2.000 species of native flora. For this reason, the impressive Waterfalls that are part of the Iguazu National Park were proclaimed as the wonder they have always been.
Rainforest Ecological Train
The Rainforest Ecological Train was designed and built to transport visitors within the Iguazu National Park, from the Visitors’ Center up to the Cataratas Station and the Devil’s Throat Station.
It runs on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), which does not pollute the environment and has clean combustion, leaving no solid waste. It runs at speeds of no more than 20 kilometers per hour (12 mph), having a very low noise impact.
It is not fully enclosed so that its 250 passengers can have direct contact with the environment and experience a journey into the forest, its sounds, scents and wetness.
